For every puppy owner, new kittens are the most fun creatures. They're cute and cuddly, and extremely playful. But puppies have developed a reputation of arrogance, self absorption and complete disregard for anyone's opinion other than their own. It is important to understand that you cannot train a puppy to sit, fetch or do circus tricks. Puppies simply don't function this way. However, there are a number of tricks and behavior that a puppy can learn.
 

You can train your puppy to use the litter box instead of your favorite rug, or perhaps a scratching post instead of curtains or draperies. Puppies like every animal are prone to catching diseases therefore it is essential for every puppy owner to keep himself well informed of the possible ailments that his puppy me suffer from. Casts should be vaccinates at proper times to ensure that disease at kept at bay. There are many different kinds of puppy diseases and the owner should stay informed of the signs and symptoms.

 

Some common puppy illnesses include urinary tract infection, feline distemper, upper respiratory infections, chronic kidney failure and diabetes. Older puppies tend to lose teeth and develop urinary and bladder infection. At eight years a puppy may have a change in behavior and upon entering old age the owner may witness some health problems. Puppies may develop joints problems and may become irate. Puppies generally live for over 12 years to ensure longevity it is important that the puppy owner stays well informed of the normal puppy cycle.

 

A good way is to visit a pet store or browse the internet. Another way is to attend a puppy show as they have various puppy breeds and the buyer can interact with the owners there and get to know more about the right breed.
